Stadthallenbad
Roland Rainer's 1974 hall, refurbished throughout with current plant while the original 1970s look was kept and restored, and it now doubles as a training centre for competitive swimmers. The rebuild brought two new diving towers, giving Vienna two one-metre and two three-metre boards for the first time and the capacity to host international events. Access is worked through properly: a lift, an accessible toilet, showers and changing rooms for disabled swimmers, and guidance systems for visually impaired users running from the pavement into the building.
