Bagno Grande

This is the free public pool, locally called the vasconi, with water at about 41°C. It is in the countryside below San Casciano and a short walk from the car parks at the entrance to the village. Of the three Roman-built pools, only one can still be used. Bagno Bossolo and Caldagna are closed to bathers, and work on the nearby Santuario Ritrovato excavation has caused temporary closures, so check the Comune's website before going.
