Bagni San Filippo

The free pools are in the Fosso Bianco, on the east side of the village, where hot springs run into a stream. How warm each pool is depends on how much cold stream water mixes in. A footpath through the woods leads to the Balena Bianca, a white calcium carbonate formation, and the largest and hottest pools, the ones to use in winter, are around that rock. Bathing is free but parking is paid, and there are no facilities, so bring everything you need.
