The tournament opens here on 9 June 2028, and the Wales national stadium takes six matches, more than any venue except Wembley. It is a rugby ground first, operated by the Welsh Rugby Union and tagged for rugby union, football, speedway and boxing, and still appears in UEFA documents under its former name, the Millennium Stadium. Capacity for the tournament is listed at 73,931, second only to Wembley.
