Petit Palais
Charles Girault's building went up for the 1900 Universal Exhibition and was kept afterwards as the city's fine arts museum, so the collection reads from ancient Greek objects through Italian and French Renaissance painting to Delacroix, Courbet, Monet and Sisley. The permanent galleries are free to all; temporary exhibitions are ticketed separately. A note on the map pin: open map data offered a close but not exact match for this place, so the marker may sit slightly off. If it looks wrong, please flag this entry so it can be checked.
