Peacock Theater

The 7,100-seat hall at L.A. Live opened as the Nokia Theatre and takes the preliminary rounds of boxing, the sport the IOC reinstated to the 2028 programme, with the finals moving a few hundred metres to the Arena. The two downtown rooms split weightlifting, artistic gymnastics and trampoline between them. It is a seated theatre rather than an arena bowl, which is why it draws the sessions that need sightlines on a single platform.
