Cobblers' Bridge
A covered wooden bridge once stood here between Mestni trg and Novi trg, two major parts of medieval Ljubljana, and cobblers kept their workshops on it. That is where the name comes from. Plečnik built the present bridge between 1931 and 1932. It is lined with balustrades of short balusters and tall pillars of different heights, each topped with a stone ball.
