Hofbräu-Festzelt

The only large tent with a proper standing area, about 1,000 places under hanging hop vines, on top of 6,018 seats inside and 3,022 in the garden. The angel Aloisius hangs from the ridge above it all. The beer is a Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier at 6.3 percent, and the band mixes English-language pop into the brass repertoire; reservation forms have opened around 4 March.
