Ramat Eshkol, Jerusalem, Israel

One of three neighbourhoods, with Giv'at HaMivtar and Ma'alot Dafna, built immediately after the 1967 war to extend the Mount Scopus enclave until it joined West Jerusalem. It lies between Sheikh Jarrah to the south and Shu'fat to the north, and the Jerusalem Story survey records that its position restricts the growth of both. The settlement tables give a 2019 population of 3,573.
