August Wilson Theatre

Five names in a century: Guild Theatre from 1925, WOR Mutual Radio through the 1940s, ANTA Playhouse, then the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, then the Virginia, and since 2005 the first Broadway house named for a Black playwright. It seats 1,228 under ATG Entertainment, opened with Caesar and Cleopatra, and held Jersey Boys for its longest run. Paranormal Activity is the current booking.
