Mineralbad Leuze
The largest of the three thermal baths, rebuilt in 1983 by the architects Geier und Geier with the artist Otto Herbert Hajek as a single designed work, and fed by two strongly carbonated healing springs plus a mineral spring. The 3,300 square metre sauna complex includes outdoor saunas, a cold plunge and open-air terraces, and with 790,769 visitors in 2023 this is one of the busiest baths in Germany. There is a lift and accessible changing and sanitary facilities, but the sauna area is only partly usable by wheelchair and some cabins cannot be reached at all.
