Aquabox

A relocatable indoor pool assembled from prefabricated timber modules in a matter of weeks on Kelterplatz, built to cover Zuffenhausen while its own Hallenbad is rebuilt. The tank is 25 metres with five lanes, shared between schools, clubs and public swimming, and it opened on 22 September 2026 as one of the official projects of the IBA'27 building exhibition. The forward-set entrance module is reached by a ramp, and the whole structure is designed to be dismantled and put up again elsewhere in the city once Zuffenhausen's replacement is finished.
