Caveau de la Huchette

A medieval stone cellar off the Quartier latin that has been running as a jazz club since 1948, with a dance floor given over to lindy hop rather than seated listening. Sidney Bechet played it early; the room turned up again as a location in La La Land. The cellar is reached by stairs and there is no step-free route in.
