Stadtbibliothek Gasteig

Closed for the Gasteig refurbishment, with the central library split across two interim addresses: the Gasteig HP8 in Sendling, Hans-Preißinger-Straße 8, Halle E, open since 8 October 2021 with music, languages and lifelong learning, and the Motorama in Haidhausen on Rosenheimer Straße, open since 26 November 2021 with family, gaming and digital learning. The library first opened in the Gasteig building on 29 May 1984. The underground car park below it still runs: 270 spaces, 19 of them marked accessible, a 2.05 m height limit and a charge.
