Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain
The foundation, founded in 1984 with a holding of more than 4,000 works, moved in October 2025 into the Louvre des Antiquaires, an 1885 block on the place du Palais-Royal that Nouvel renovated for the purpose and fitted out across 6,500 square metres. It leaves behind his earlier building at 261 boulevard Raspail in the 14th, 1,200 square metres of exhibition space set in Lothar Baumgarten's Theatrum Botanicum garden. Admission is charged.
