May 2015 Kokopo earthquake

The epicentre lay off the eastern coast of Papua New Guinea, about 130 km south-southwest of Kokopo, five weeks after a comparable shock southeast of the same town. Contemporary reporting gave the depth as 42 km, shallower than the catalogue figure.
