Copenhagen's skateparks

Map of 6 locations in Copenhagen, Denmark

Copenhagen's skateboarding is mostly municipal: the city's street-sport office runs or part-runs the parks, which is why the surfaces, lighting and opening arrangements are documented rather than rumoured. What is collected here runs from a tram company's old painting workshop fitted out as an indoor hall to a foundation-funded concrete landscape in Fælledparken and a handful of asphalt squares with concrete obstacles bolted into them. Each entry records what the ground is made of, whether there are lights after dark, and whether there is a roof, because those are the facts that decide where you go in a Danish November.
