Hurricane Lorenzo (2019)
After completing an eyewall replacement cycle, Lorenzo restrengthened rapidly and peaked on 29 September with 1-minute sustained winds of 160 mph, far out in the central Atlantic. It passed near the western Azores on 2 October, briefly bringing strong winds across much of the archipelago. The remnant made landfall on Ireland on 4 October, where it was known as Storm Lorenzo, and the low-level circulation became ill-defined shortly after.
