Großsiedlung Siemensstadt

Known also as the Ringsiedlung, after the architects' association Der Ring whose members divided the rows between them, on the Charlottenburg side of the Siemens works. It is one of the six components inscribed in 2008, and the group is credited by the German UNESCO commission with an influence on social housing that runs well past the 1930s. Registered as a quarter in its own right rather than as a block within a neighbourhood.
