Stadtbad Mitte "James Simon"
Carlo Jelkmann and Heinrich Tessenow's 1930 bath, a protected Baudenkmal, holds a daylit 50-metre pool that runs from 60 cm to 3 metres deep and has six starting blocks, which makes it a lane-counting pool first. Two fitness rooms and yoga on Wednesdays and Thursdays sit alongside. Thursday is the day to avoid: closing is 14:00, and Friday does not open until noon. Five minutes on foot from Nordbahnhof.
