Stadtbad Charlottenburg – Alte Halle
Berlin's oldest indoor pool, finished in 1898 to Paul Bratring's design, with a 25-metre pool and an integrated wading pool under a steel-and-glass ceiling behind a brick-gothic facade. The hall was heavily renovated in the 1970s, and the murals and overhead daylight are the reason people cross town for it. Access is partial, and hours are not posted consistently, so confirm with the operator before going.
