Sound Metaphors

Run by the label and DJ duo of the same name, the shop opened its first premises in 2015 and lost the Kreuzberg one in June 2025 when the landlords declined to renew the contract. It reopened in Neukölln that July after a month of carpentry and metalwork, stocked from second-hand collections bought in over the preceding winter. DJs come for the curation rather than the new releases: the range covers techno, house, disco and reggae.
