A dot on a map won't tell you the place shuts on Tuesdays. A collection defines its own fields, so every stop records what you'd need to actually go.
Opening hours, what it cost, how long it took, whether it's worth the detour. Pick the fields when you start and add more later; new fields are optional, so the stops you already saved stay valid.
A collection that tracks a plan can give every stop a status too, open to resolved, so the ones you've already made stop competing for attention with the ones you haven't.
