George W. Bush Presidential Library

On the Archives' own list this Dallas building is registered under library services alone, with the museum operated separately as part of the Bush Center on the Southern Methodist University campus. The exhibit most visitors describe afterwards is the smallest object in a 250 million dollar complex: the white bullhorn used on the World Trade Center rubble in September 2001. The federal library holds the records; the surrounding institute and museum do not.
