Opéra Grand Avignon

Before it was renamed, this was the Théâtre municipal, which the festival first took over between 1967 and 1971. It has 700 seats and has been listed as a historic monument since 12 October 1988. Along with the Cour d'honneur, it has the festival's most expensive tickets. In July 2026 it stages Uma Luz Cordial - Capítulo III, Trilogia Cadela Força, Neige, Neige, Neige and Casting Lear.
