The festival's main stage is the open courtyard of the popes' palace, and the July 2026 bill there runs from Maldoror and Oiseau to a Benjamin Clementine concert, Le Pas du Monde and L'Aube des Questions. It is also where the opening production usually goes, as with Thomas Jolly's staging of Seneca's Thyeste. Tickets here sit at the top of the festival's price range, which generally runs from 10 to 40 euros. OpenStreetMap lists the courtyard as not wheelchair accessible.
