Old Campus
The quadrangle Yale grew out of, built through the colonial and early federal periods and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Connecticut Hall, finished in 1752, is the survivor from that first phase and stands on the quad's west side; the rest of the enclosure came later, which is why the courtyard reads as one thing and its dates do not.
