The houses of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar

Map of 6 locations in Weimar, Germany

Six buildings held by Germany's second-largest cultural foundation, which inherited them from an East German memorial authority that had itself gathered them out of the former ducal estate. Most carry World Heritage reference 846, the Classical Weimar inscription of 1998, but not all of them do, and the gap between a ducal garden house and an architect's own 1907 villa is part of what the foundation's register actually contains. Admission rules differ house by house: some are free, some charge, and two shut for the winter.
