Minskoff Theatre

A 1973 house built into the base of One Astor Plaza rather than as a freestanding building, with 1,710 seats reached by escalator from the Broadway entrance. Irene opened it, and The Lion King has been the tenant since 2006, making it both the longest run and the current show. The Nederlander Organization operates it.
