Battle of Drumclog

BTL21, fought in South Lanarkshire on 1 June 1679 between the Covenanter army and Government troops, and recorded as a Covenanter victory, three weeks before the same rebellion ended at Bothwell Bridge. A monument stands on the site and is catalogued as the Battle of Drumclog Memorial.
