Battle of Bannockburn

BTL4 on the Inventory, fought in Stirling on 24 June 1314 between the Kingdom of Scotland and the Kingdom of England during the Wars of Scottish Independence, and recorded as a Scottish victory. Historic Scotland published its full Inventory report on the battlefield on 14 December 2012. The precise ground remains disputed, which is why the designated area is broader than the visitor centre it surrounds.
