Battle of Alford

Listed as BTL1, the first entry on the Inventory, fought in Aberdeenshire on 2 July 1645 between Scottish Royalists and Government troops during the Wars of the Three Kingdoms. The Inventory records the outcome as a Royalist victory. The site carries Canmore record 17524 in the national monuments database.
