Forest Park Carousel

The pavilion is at the northwest corner of Forest Park, on Forest Park Drive just west of Woodhaven Boulevard. It is part of a seasonal amusement village run by NY Carousel, so check the website before a winter visit. The Daniel Carl Muller machine still has its original band organ and has been a city landmark since 2013. Sources disagree on its age and figure count: a family guide says 1890 and 49 horses plus a chariot, while the National Register listing says about 1903 and 52 figures.
