London's city farms

London's city farms started in Kentish Town in 1972. Today they sit on an old railway depot, reclaimed dockland and the site of a wartime river fire station. Entry is free everywhere, with donations encouraged, but opening days, dog rules and group booking rules differ from farm to farm, and those are the things to check before setting off with children.
