Hackney City Farm

Closed on Mondays. Open Tuesday to Sunday and on public holidays from 10am to 4:30pm, and dogs are not allowed. It has run since 1984 between Broadway Market and Columbia Road, with pigs, goats, sheep, ducks and a donkey, plus a garden of raised vegetable beds, orchard trees and wetland plants. Lunch is at Frizzante, the Italian restaurant on site, and the zero-waste shop Get Loose sells refillable pantry staples.
