Origins Centre
One of five Wits-run public attractions, built around the long record of human presence in southern Africa and tracing, in the university's own framing, humanity's footsteps from the distant past to the present. It sits a short walk from the Wits Art Museum in Braamfontein and is named in the same 2026 precinct announcement as the Wits Fossil Vault and the Adler Museum of Medicine.
