Frankfurt's Museumsufer museums
Map of 17 locations in Frankfurt, Germany
Nine museums stand shoulder to shoulder on the Schaumainkai between the Alte Brücke and the Friedensbrücke, and around thirty more Frankfurt and Offenbach houses joined them under a shared mark in October 2007; the association now runs discounts across 39 participating museums, and the Museumsuferfest has filled both banks on the last weekend of August since 1988. Collected here are the embankment row itself plus the members set back from the water: a tower cabinet in Sachsenhausen, a club museum at the stadium, an excavated ghetto lane under Battonnstraße, and an exhibition hall on the island in the middle of the river. Opening hours, prices and the actual state of step-free access are given as the museums and the city record them.
