Buttes New British Cemetery

The cemetery sits at the foot of the Butte in Polygon Wood, the old Belgian army firing-range mound that both sides fortified, with the New Zealand Memorial to the Missing along its rear wall. It was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2023 as one of 27 Flanders front-line burial and memorial sites, together with Polygon Wood Cemetery and Tyne Cot nearby.
