Trump Palace Condominiums

Frank Williams and Associates designed the 54-storey tower at 200 East 69th Street, begun in April 1989 and finished in 1991 at 623 feet. It remains among the tallest residential buildings on the Upper East Side, and the name is still spelled out at the entrance. The setback massing was a response to zoning on a mid-block site rather than a stylistic gesture.
