Grand Blockhaus

A multi-level bunker on the coast west of Saint-Nazaire, part of the outlying fortification of the U-boat base and later of the pocket that held out until May 1945. It is now run as a museum across its several floors, which makes it one of the few structures of this size on the Atlantic coast that can be walked from bottom to top rather than viewed from outside.
