City Halls

Candleriggs holds two festival rooms under one roof, the main hall and the 110-capacity Recital Rooms, which is where artists get booked when the point is to play small. The final of the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician competition usually lands here on the festival's last day, televised on BBC Alba, and the 2027 programme sets a tribute to Archie Fisher in the same building.
